Na noite do último domingo (1º), aconteceu em Los Angeles a 68º edição do Grammy Awards, maior premiação da indústria da música,.
Dentre os grandes destaques da noite está o rapper Kendrick Lamar que, além de ter sido o artista com maior número de indicações ao Grammy 2026 (concorrendo a 9 categorias), também foi o grande vencedor da noite, conquistando 5 gramofones, incluindo o de “Gravação do Ano” pela música “Luther”, em parceria com SZA.
Quanto à categoria principal de “Álbum do Ano”, o vencedor foi o porto-riquenho Bad Bunny pelo disco “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos”, que conquistou ainda a marca de primeiro álbum inteiramente em espanhol na história do Grammy a levar o prêmio.
Em meio a tantos artistas da música internacional que disputavam as 95 categorias do Grammy 2026, o Brasil também conquistou um gramofone na premiação com a vitória de Caetano Veloso e Maria Bethânia na categoria “Melhor Álbum de Música Global” pelo disco “Caetano e Bethânia Ao Vivo”.
Para além dos prêmios, o Grammy 2026 também foi marcado pelas performances de diferentes artistas, como Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Rosé, e uma homenagem especial a Ozzy Osbourne com uma apresentação feita por Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith e Andrew Watt da música “War Pigs”, clássico do álbum “Paranoid” (1970), do Black Sabbath.
